Celebrate Local Authors at Second Annual Event on July 20, 2008 in Vallejo
"Celebrating Local Authors II," Solano County Library Foundation's event to connect local authors with local readers and aspiring authors, will be held again this year on Sunday, July 20, at Vallejo's JFK Library in the Joseph Room from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Authors with published works, living in Solano County, and interested in participating in this year's program are encouraged to contact the Solano County Library Foundation for more information at 707.421.8075 or beth.libraryfoundation@yahoo.com.This year's event will be limited to eight authors representing a variety of genres; they will participate in panel discussions and be available for individual discussions while selling their books to attendees. Vallejo author David Corbett (Blood of Paradise, Done for a Dime, and The Devil's Redhead) will act as moderator again this year. There will also be a literary marketplace for non-participating authors to have flyers about their work for distribution.
