Solano County Library Foundation's Literary Tour 2007

September 5 Ð 12 in New England

Boston, Salem, Concord, the Berkshires, Hartford

Visit the homes of such literary luminaries as: Louisa May Alcott, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Emily Dickenson, Edith Wharton, Herbert Melville, Mark Twain, and Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Stay in historic hotels in Salem and Stockbridge.

Enjoy tours of the JFK Memorial Library, Robert Frost Collection, Norman Rockwell Museum, and the Salem Witch House.

Tour limited to 40 people Ð on a first come, first served basis.

Deposit of $200 due by May 15.

Cost of the tour (without airfare) is $1,382 ($1,332 for Library Foundation members) with an additional $569 single occupancy rate. Airfare from Sacramento is $447 if deposit is received by April 9.

Tour package includes: All motor coach transfer per itinerary; driver gratuity; 7 nights accommodations (4 nights lodging at the Hawthorne Hotel/Salem, MA and 3 nights lodging at the Red Lion Inn/Stockbridge, MA); Baggage handling at hotels; admission to the following per the itinerary: Salem Witch Museum, The House of the Seven Gables, Longfellow House, John F.
